Below is some of the most important information about our property and the surrounding area.

Additional hints and tips for your stay can be found in our “Clipper Guide”, which can be accessed through your TV. If you require further, more specific information, our reception team will be glad to assist.

Please find here the manuals for the use of air conditioning, heating, dishwasher, mircowave, Nespresso machine and TV & LINN Sound System in your apartment.

Reception

Opening hours
Monday – Friday 7:00am to 10:00pm
Weekends and public holidays 8:00am to 6:00pm
Speed dialling 444 will put you through to the reception. Outside of our opening hours please dial +49 40 75244044 or +49 170 4596781 in case of emergencies.
Our reception is at your disposal for any questions and suggestions and, among other things, will gladly help you with the following matters:

-Office box – everything from post-it notes, highlighter and paper-clips
-Help with bookings, modifying and printing your plane and train tickets
-Printing, faxing and scanning your documents (may incur a charge)
-Providing writing materials
-Booking city tours
-Restaurant reservations
-Car and bicycle hire information
-Porterage
-Arranging babysitters and dog sitters
-Nespresso capsules, dishwasher tablets and detergent for a fee
-Oral hygiene packs, disposable razors and first-aid items

Early Arrival

On the day of arrival, the apartment will be available from 3:00pm. Should you arrive earlier, you are welcome to book our early arrival service for 40.00 Euro. This is possible from 12:00 am. This service is subject to availability and will be arranged by our reception team.

Late Check-out

The Check-out time is 11:00am. If you need your room until the afternoon, you can book our late check-out Service for 40,00 Euro. A departure until 4:00pm is possible. This service is subject to availability and will be arranged by our reception team.

Laundry service

We will gladly take care of cleaning your laundry from Monday to Friday. You will find a price list for the laundry service in the wardrobe. Please hand your washing to reception until 9:00am, to have it returned by 6:00pm.

Washing machine and dryer

Our guest laundry has washing machines, dryers and laundry racks. The laundry is located on level “U”, and you are welcome to use it from 8:00am to 8:00pm free of charge. Reception can provide detergent for a small fee. Please contact reception, if you need an iron and board provided in your apartment.

Car park

The Clipper Elb-Lodge has an on-site parking garage for our guests. Depending on availability, you can book a parking bay for 25,00 Euro a night through our reception. Access is available through the Carsten-Rehder-Straße.

Apartment information

WIFI

Use our free basic Internet or the premium Internet for a charge. On your Smartphone, tablet or laptop, first select the “Elb Lodge” wireless network and follow the menu navigation.
Your access details consist of your booking number and apartment number, which can be found on the arrival card given to you together with your apartment key.

LINN Sound System

Our sound system is connected with the TV and can be used as a radio, CD player and DVD player. Instructions on how to use the TV and sound system you will find on your apartment.

Cleaning

We perform a partial cleaning after every third night and a full clean after the sixth night.
You are also welcome to book additional cleaning sessions for 15,00 Euro through reception.

Nespresso coffee machine

A free starter set of Nespresso capsules is provided in your apartment upon arrival. An instruction manual has been enclosed. Additional capsules can be purchased at reception for a charge of 0.70 Euros each. We will also provide a conventional coffee machine free of charge, subject to availability.

Dishwasher

A dishwasher tab can be found in the kitchen drawer. Additional tabs can be given out at reception free of charge. See the manuals section for instructions on how to use the dishwasher.

Smoking

The entire house is a Nonsmoking area. Failure to comply with this rule will result in an additional charge of 120,00 Euros in cleaning costs.

Telephone

For outside lines, please first dial “0”, followed by the area prefix and the telephone number. The price is 0.20 Euros per unit. Internal calls are free of charge. The direct number for the telephone in your apartment is +49 40 80901 apartment number.

Electrical Outlet with constant current

You will find fold-out electrical outlets on your work desk. Those electrical outlets will work at all times. We recommend to use those electrical outlets for your electrical appliances.

Breakfast

The next breakfast place is the coffee shop “Oh it´s fresh”. It can conveniently be accessed via the main lobby.

Goldbrot breakfast delivery service

Over the supplier “Goldbrot”, we can order sandwiches, breakfast boxes, sweets and other things for you.
We bring the delivery, if desired, also to the apartment.

You can of course view and order other foods on the website www.goldbrot.de.

REWE grocery delivery service

Please use the delivery services from REWE for your purchase.

How does it work?
1. Pick up and fill out your grocery list from the reception team (minimum order 45 Euro).
2. Confirm your delivery date and time and drop your list at the reception.
3. We will accept the delivery for you and take it to your apartment.
4. The order will be placed for your convenience on your bill.

Bus 111 3 minutes’ walk (200 m) away

Ferry station “Altona Fischmarkt”
Ferry 62 5 minutes’ walk (400 m) away. You find the ferry station behind the fish auction hall. You can take the ferry with your public transport ticket.
The latest timetables are available at reception or at www.hvv.de, which also contains information on tickets and fares. We recommend using the “HVV” app to find the fastest public transport connections.

Taxis

You can use the speed dial function on your telephone to book a taxi for a small charge, or have the reception staff arrange one for you free of charge.
