INTRODUCTION
Welcome to the Clipper Boardinghouses! With three houses in the best locations of Hamburg and Berlin, we offer serviced apartments at the highest level with our concept "Less but more than a Hotel".
One of these houses is the Clipper Boardinghouse Hamburg-Michel, which was reopened after extensive renovations in July 2022 as the flagship boardinghouse of the group. In the 96 apartments with sizes ranging from 28- 65 sqm, our guests can enjoy the perfect space for their individual development. The boardinghouse convinces with its high-quality equipment and the dream location between Michel and Hamburg harbor.
To support our reopening team we are looking for a housekeeper assistant (m/f/d) in full or part time (min. 30 hours/week) as soon as possible. In addition to the Clipper Boardinghouse Hamburg-Michel, you will also be employed at the Clipper Boardinghouse Hamburg-Holzhafen at the Fischmarkt, where you can enjoy the fantastic view of the Elbe River.

YOUR TASKS
Checking the cleanliness of the apartments and the public areas
Checking the apartments for technical defects
Control of the warehouses
Ensuring the implementation of our quality standards
Supporting the instruction of our own staff
processing guests' requests (towels, extra beds, etc.)
Cooperation in the ordering processes
Close cooperation with the housekeeper, house technology and the front office
YOUR PROFILE
Completed training in the hotel industry or motivated career changer
Ideally first practical experience in housekeeping
Good knowledge of German
Knowledge of Oracle Suite 8 and MS Office programs is an advantage
Good manners, a well-groomed appearance and a positive charisma
Commitment, reliability and ability to work under pressure
Pronounced quality awareness and good organizational skills

YOUR TASKS
You are the first point of contact for our guests and work independently and on your own responsibility in the early and late service.
You make the stay of our guests to something special by your cordial support
As a host you give our guests tips and recommendations for Hamburg and leisure activities
Check in and check out of our guests
Cash desk management
Telephone and written acceptance and processing of reservations in the absence of the reservations department
Invoicing and accounts receivable processing
Execution of the daily closing including the preparation of the reporting for the management
Close cooperation with the housekeeping and technical departments
Service and solution-oriented handling of complaints
YOUR PROFILE
You are the right person for us if you are a cordial host and love dealing with a wide variety of people! You are characterized by quality awareness as well as service orientation and are willing to continuously develop yourself. Ideally, you have completed an apprenticeship in the hotel business and have gained some practical experience at the reception desk or in another service-oriented industry. In addition, you have a good command of German and English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Oracle Suite 8 is an advantage but not a must.
You do not come from the hotel industry, but you are a service provider with heart and soul? Then don't be afraid to apply to us. Career changers are very welcome.

Checking the linen for wear and damage

Reporting of technical defects and necessary repairs
